HAVING qualified as a solicitor in October last year, former Woodroffe School pupil Nicola Fowkes has joined the law firm of Milford and Dormor.
Nicola studied Law and French at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, and spent a year studying Belgian law at L’universite Catholique de Louvian la neuve.
She obtained her legal practice certificate at The College of Law, Chester, and will be specialising in private client work and residential conveyancing. Nicola joined Milford and Dormor in January of this year and will be working in both their Chard and Ilminster offices.
Nicola is also heavily involved in the marketing of the Ilminster office, which opened last year, as well as promoting the Institute of Cancer Research’s “Make a Will for Free” scheme.
Nicola told the View from Lyme Regis: “So many solicitors consider the bright lights of London as the place to practice law. For me, the South West has so much more to offer. I am thrilled to have joined a local firm with traditional values and a personable, caring approach to client care. I am excited to see what the future holds.”
Milford and Dormor have been trading for 140 years and also have offices in Axminster, Chard, Hemyock and Seaton.
